The Planner You’ve Been Waiting For

By Brooke Forry

We are designers by trade. The foundation of our decade-old business, Curious & Co. Creative, has long been logos & visual branding for small businesses, but we also have a passion for creating products — most recently we created a collection of patriotic postcards known as We the Postcard, which gave us the opportunity to raise thousands of dollars for civic-minded organizations we care about.

Last summer, while driving home from a networking event, exhausted and thinking about all the things I had to do that evening, I found myself wishing that the planner I used had a better way to separate out the different roles I play and the related tasks that come with each of those roles.

And then, of course, it struck me: oh, I can make a planner like that myself!

I created it and had a rough prototype printed, and started using it. And I loved it. And I realized that other people might be looking for something like this, too. So we tweaked, and refined, and tested, and had friends test it, and realized we had to get this out into the world.

In a time when ‘busy’ is glorified and we’re all feeling exhausted and burnt out from the daily grind, The Balance Bound™ Planner helps busy people create order, set boundaries, and prioritize self-care.

By dividing your daily tasks into four signature sections — work, self, others, and home — and with a beautiful and intuitive design, to boot, it is the tool we all need to better manage the juggle of day-to-day life.

From a creator perspective, The Balance Bound™ Planner is the perfect culmination of my obsession with planners/to-do lists and our collective design & print management expertise at Curious & Co. From a user perspective, I have seen how much it actually works to better manage the many responsibilities I juggle, and I know it can work for others.

We are so excited to be able to bring this innovative new product to you!
